Cheddar Bell

Formerly known as Cheddar Bob…until neuter day became a spay day! Oops!

Cheddar is a fun and energetic kitty, She can play independently to keep herself entertained but she loves playing with another cat as her most favorite pastime. She can be shy meeting new people so her new family will need to let her go at her own pace. She is affectionate and loves hugs and kisses. While not a lap cat per se, she loves hanging on the couch next to you for a Netflix binge. Cheddar is also a big bed hog! She is known to set up up camp right on her person’s chest. She has a loud purr and loves spending the morning chirping at the birds. She has excellent litterbox manners and uses her scratching posts. She has made good friends with the younger cats in her foster home so we know she needs a feline playmate around her same age. Recently a dog came to stay at her home and she mostly ignores him. So she may do fine with a home with a dog. Her estimated DOB is April 2023. Let’s find this beautiful girl a home!

Sammy

Sammy is a super friendly boy, despite having a rough start in life. He spent most of his kittenhood hiding under cars and using storm drains and the sewer system to navigate under busy streets as he roamed the neighborhood looking for food. He found enough to survive, but he weighed just over 4 lbs at around 7 months old! Sammy was trapped as part of our TNR efforts in the area, and it didn’t take long for our volunteers to see that he wasn’t thriving there. While Sammy was recovering from surgery it became clear that he would be a great pet, and he was put into a foster home to get the kitty-lovin’ that he so desperately needed.

Sammy loves to play, and he loves being touched and petted. He’ll head-butt into your hand and stand on his hind legs to reach you! He wants to be around you all the time, but he will also occupy himself by playing with toys when he’s alone. He’s really smart too! He knows his name, he can almost open lever-handled doors (give him another week and we think he’ll have it figured out), and he knows his name and comes when he’s called.

Sammy is a beautiful, almost all-black cat. He has a cute white spot on the front of his neck, and everything else is black – his fur, paw pads, lips, and nose. He can almost disappear in a dark room!

If you are looking for a happy, playful, loving companion cat who is almost a year old then please fill out an adoption application for Sammy! He’ll make you very happy, and he’ll be happy to be rescued!

Clyde & Bonnie - My adoption fee is sponsored!

Known for our robberies of Inaba Churu stashes, me and my sister Bonnie are looking for the perfect quiet home for someone to love us and let us get comfortable since we have been hiding from the authorities for some time. Brandi

Brandi is a stunning girl looking for her person! She would like to be the only kitty in the house, a pampered princess and is such a sweetheart. She loves to “help” and be a vigilant coworker making sure you have all your paperwork in order. She is also very playful and her favorite toy is the catnip banana! We think her ideal home is adult only/older kids. She does get along with other cats! We found that she is best with less dominant cats so no alphas to compete with. She is a true gem that will make someone an incredible companion!

Momo

Momo came to us with three kittens in tow. She raised her littles and they all got adopted. While in our care, her foster realized that she is a friendly kitty, just shy. She loves to be petted and once comfortable, she is very sweet and affectionate. She lives with small dogs but avoids them. She gets along great with other cats. Her ideal home would be a quiet one, with another cat, and a patient human family to let her go at her own pace. Let’s find this sweet girl a home!

We Got Adopted!

Collins - I GOT ADOPTED!

Born on November 21, 2023, these 4-month-old handsome boys are ready for adoption. The kittens have been fostered with two adult dogs (50 lbs. and 30 lbs.) and three adult cats. They go nose-to-nose with the dogs and eat side-by-side with the cats. They are fully integrated in a household and navigate everything that is tossed their way. They have captured the hearts of everyone who comes in contact with them – vets, vet techs, visitors, and family members.

Collins – a pale gray tabby with dark highlights, white feet and belly, and a cute white and pink nose. Collins is the smallest and quietest of the group. He makes his way up to his foster mom’s bedroom in the morning and enjoys playing on the bed. He runs through the house chasing after his siblings, then curls up for an afternoon nap. He loves investigating mechanical cat toys and soft catnip toys. Collins is truly a lovely, gentle boy. He would do well with another cat buddy or one of his siblings like Hopper.

Hopper - I GOT ADOPTED!

Hopper – a brown tabby, with white feet and a white chest bib. Hopper is a warm, purring scarf kitty. He loves to wrap around his foster mom’s neck, sleep, give kitty kisses, and purr. He’s the “tough guy” – he’ll chase his siblings through the house, play fight, then curl up with them and go to sleep. Hopper enjoys playing with the basket of cat toys and watches the outside birds. He interacts the most with his brother, Collins. They would be a good match together.

Dunwoody - I GOT ADOPTED!

Dunwoody, aka Woody – the largest of the litter. A very confident, interactive boy, who plays hard with his siblings and then naps the afternoon away. He’s got a big purr and voluntarily jumps up on laps and beds for cuddle time. Woody enjoys playing with mechanical cat toys, catnip birds, feather wands, and random “things” that drop on the floor. He’s a big eater and definitely talks when he’s hungry. Woody is adaptable – he would be ok being an only cat if his people were home a lot to give him attention, with a new brother or sister cat, or with one of his siblings. He’s a beautiful boy.

Rasta - I GOT ADOPTED!

Rasta is the most beautiful dilute calico and she knows it! While that may sound like she is a diva, she is sweet, curious and very playful. Rasta has had a rough few months as she had surgery to remove a polyp in her ear and nose. The one in her ear grew through the ear drum and she is now partially deaf in the left ear. Both polyps slightly damaged her optic nerve that has left her a bit cross-eyed. We think it makes her extra cute! Neither conditions affect her on a day-to-day basis. She is fostered with her sister Mary Jane and is looking for a home with her sister. While they do get along with other cats, they would be very happy to be the only kitties as they LOVE getting attention from their humans.

Her estimated DOB is April 2023.

Mary Jane (MJ) - I GOT ADOPTED!

Mary Jane is a beautiful calico! She is incredibly affectionate and would wrap her like a scarf around you every moment of every day if she could. She is playful and fun as well. MJ recently had surgery on her left eye where the third eyelid was attached. It will always look a little different but now you can actually see her beautiful golden eye. Her eye will always weep just a little as the tear duct has been impaired by the eyelid condition.

She is being fostered with her sister Rasta and is looking for a home with her sister. While they do get along with other cats, they would be very happy to be the only kitties as they LOVE getting attention from their humans.

Her estimated DOB is April 2023.

Sushi - I GOT ADOPTED!

When Sushi arrived at an LC3 TNR clinic this summer, the plan was to returned her to where she had been trapped. She looked very young though and one of the vet techs at the clinic asked to take her home for an assessment. We’re happy to report that Sushi has transformed from a scared little community cat into an outgoing, playful and cuddly house cat! Sushi’s foster writes:

"Sushi loves to play with toys and even carries them around in her mouth (it’s so cute!). She likes to sit on my shoulder to be carried around and sleeps next to me during nap time. She will melt in your hand for kitty massages and her purr will soothe whatever ails you. Sushi is still nervous when encountering new situations, but she is curious and recovers quickly.“

We think Sushi would do well with social, confident cat friends, but she can play a bit rough with her foster’s two resident kittens at times (while also not seeming too interested in them otherwise) so she would also do well in a home without other cats as long as she had a lot of play and snuggle time with her human family. She is around 6 months old and would love to find a forever family that could help her continue to blossom into her full potential. (Bonus: Sushi has been eating Purina LiveClear food, which reduces the level of allergens she produces. Her foster mom feeds this to all her cats).

Sunglasses Kitten: Revo - I GOT ADOPTED!

Revo is a beautiful Lynx Point Siamese kitten. She is a high-energy kitten that loves to play with her toys and other cats. She can be a little shy at first and will take some time to settle into her new home. She will sit on the couch with you to hang out and occasionally you’ll find her sleeping by your feet at night or while you watch TV. We know she is going to blossom with the right hoomins that will accept her and let her go at her own pace. She is such a delight once she is comfortable and is so much fun to have around. Revo would need another friendly kitty in her home. Revo does have some allergies that we have been working on getting under control. Her new family will need to be ready to work on that with her and could be something she lives with for the rest of her life.

Her estimated DOB is March 2023.

Kai (and Keanu) - We got adopted!

These two bonded brothers came to us from a large TNR site. They were too small for surgery so we put them in with a foster to see if they would socialize. They have done so well in our time with us and now it is time to find them their forever home.

Their ideal home is a quiet one, older kids would be okay, no dogs and their family will need to be patient with them as they acclimate to their new surroundings. They are initially reserved and need time to build trust with their persons. Once they have built that, they are incredibly loving and follow you around like little puppies. Kai is more outgoing and will readily hop on your lap for affection. Keanu sees Kai getting attention and comes over to rub on you. He then will join with a little help and the two of them purr up a storm all the while getting smothered with human kisses.

They both are very playful and love to chase balls, springs, feather toys and the laser light. They both are very wet food motivated which is initially the way to their little hearts. They have a water fountain in their foster room and will sit and watch the water bubble, it's too cute. They also love to stay hydrated. Both have excellent litter box manners and use their scratchers. Both are also very good with getting their nails trimmed. Together these two are a special pair...so worth taking the chance on them, letting them come around at their own pace and filling your life with love and tons of antics for years to come.

Estimated DOB: late August 2023

Krispy & Kreme - We got adopted!

Introducing: a super sweet pair, Krispy and Kreme!

Krispy and Kreme have truly defied the odds and practically used 8 of their 9 lives as babies. Rescued and severely malnourished with raging URI’s, and Krispy’s blood glucose was dangerously low - he even landed a trip at a local ER. He got his nickname “Krispy” because he was so dehydrated we called him crispy, and “Kreme” had the nickname of “crunchy.” With some IV medications and fluids, and some extra TLC the last few weeks, these two cuties have gone from skin and bones to cute lil potatoes. Their personalities have shone through, and they are absolutely thriving!

One thing to know about this bonded pair, they would absolutely do better in a new home together. They are a smidge timid at first, but after they’ve warmed up, you get the opportunity to see their curious and playful side come out. They hold free nightly WWE wrestling matches for your enjoyment, and they both love a good cuddle sesh. Krispy prefers chin scratches and Kreme loves her belly rubbed.

This dynamic duo will surely bring some added sweetness and lots of love and laughter to your home.

Krispy's nose is mostly white and Kreme has a brown nose with a white stripe.

*Kreme has had a leg injury and is recovering so Krispy is currently with another foster. Because of this, they can be adopted separately but must have a friendly feline companion in their new home. It would be amazing if someone is willing to adopt them together and wait for Kreme to heal up.

Autumn & Angie - We got adopted!

Autumn is very special because she's an orange female (80% of orange cats are male), but that's not the only thing special about her. Autumn is the sweetest, cuddliest kitten who adores being held and falling asleep on your lap. She's very outgoing and friendly and eager to investigate any and all things you are doing. Autumn is a purrfect little helper.

Angie has a heart of gold and enjoys being held and loved. She is very sweet and playful! Angie becomes super excited when it comes to feather toys!! Beware if you have any feathers on you because Angie will find them and carry them away, all the while happily growling about her catch!! It's super cute to watch her play, she's quite serious about it.

Autumn and Angie are looking for a home together!

Estimated DOB: August 2023

Danny (some special needs) - ADOPTED!

Danny is a gorgeous flame point siamese gentleman. You may have seen a long post about him on our page a while back telling his story. Initially part of a TNR project in 2019, Danny developed a head tilt this past summer and the caretaker asked he be checked out. He had several polyps that had developed deep in his ears and we had to have a specialist perform surgery to remove them. As a result of the damage from the polyps, he is partially deaf. His head will always be tilted to the side but he has adapted well. He needs his eyes wiped daily which is doesn’t love but knows it must be done. He is such a friendly guy and with his condition, we knew he needed an indoor home.

He is around 5 years old. He is a very chatty kitty, especially when he is hungry, wants pets or wants to be on the enclosed screen porch. He loves listening to the birds and watching the squirrels. He can do stairs, get onto the bed or sofa and has no issues. Some steps around those objects are always helpful though for him. He gets along with dogs and other cats. He loves people!

Let's find Danny the perfect home!

Country Singer Icon June - I GOT ADOPTED!

June is the last of her country music siblings.  She's a beautiful pitch black, shiny, four-month-old kitten, with deep golden eyes.  June is a picture-perfect house panther.  June's brothers have been adopted, leaving June as the solo foster.  This has turned out to be the best possible scenario for her.  She is now coming into her own after being bullied by her three rambunctious brothers.  Since their departure, June is now becoming a people-oriented kitten.  She loves to wind around legs, sit in laps, purr big purrs, and nap in the humans' bed during the afternoon.  She tolerates having her belly rubbed and nibbles on fingers.  June has lots of fun playing with a laser and her mechanical fish.  She runs through the house like a sprinter when hearing the cat food cabinet open.

June can be in a house with (safe) dogs, another quieter cat or two, or solo, if her person will be home a lot and provide her with love and attention.  Let's find her a perfect home!
