Arthur was rescued from a house in Winchester. There were cats everywhere that were not being cared for properly. Arthur was so sick that we thought we were taking him to the vet to be euthanized but he was not ready. His will to live, and love pulled him through. He is such a sweetheart and just wants a family of his own to care for him and he will give back, with love.
Chance came to us from a TNR effort and we realized she needed our help. Her tail was injured, and there were rough areas on her skin and paw pads. With more medical care, a tail amputation, pain medication, and good food and care, she is a new cat! Her skin has healed, and her fur is growing back. She loves to play and run and jump. She is still a bit sensitive where her tail was amputated, but she doesn't mind being held, and loves to be petted and scratched. Chance ignores the dogs in her foster home, and gets along with cats. Everyone needs a chance...can you be her second chance?
How it Works
Fill out the adoption application and our volunteer will call you within 12 hours. Once you are pre-approved, you will be ready to adopt a kitten as soon as they reach eight weeks old.
We are unable to place a hold on kittens. We will notify you as soon as kittens become available. You will then be able to meet the kittens and adopt the one that you fall in love with!
You must be 21 years of age or older to adopt.
If you want to meet one of our fosters, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 703-687-6009.
Adopt a cat and save a life!
We Got Adopted!
My name is Meadow. I am 12 weeks old and I'm a girl. I am looking for a family of my very own! All my siblings have found families. I was born in a dumpster at a local business. The nice people that work there called LC3 to get help in saving my whole family. It was raining and we were getting wet and it was so cold we were shivering. The volunteers at LC3 came out within an hour of being called and saved me, and fixed my mommy so she doesn't have to have anymore babies. I am super sweet! I am looking for a feline playmate as playful as me!
I GOT ADOPTED!
Fives: Cry Baby
I got my nickname Crybaby because when it's dinnertime and playtime, two of my favorite things, I like to talk and let you know I am ready! I do purr as well especially at naptime.
I'm looking forward to a furrever family that enjoys playing as much as me. I see all things in my life as fun toys and I'm eager to play all of the time -- until I'm exhausted and ready to cuddle up and drift off to sleep. I'd love to get adopted with one of my siblings We will have you laughing so hard that your belly will hurt!
I GOT ADOPTED!
Runt is an adorable little girl who will melt your heart just by the expression on her face. She's tiny, the runt of the litter, but has a huge heart and loving purr-sonality. She is growing into such a beautiful girl with stunning markings. She would love to find her forever home soon!
