Founder and Executive Director

Kim Fields is the Founder and Executive Director of the Loudoun Community Cat Coalition and has been involved in animal welfare since 2001. She earned an Associate degree and certificate in Non-Profit Management from Northern Virginia Community College and is working on a second certificate in business management.

Under her leadership, the Coalition was awarded the prestigious Ayshire award from the Virginia Federation of Humane Societies for their work with the spay/neuter of community cats. Kim sits on the Animal Advisory Committee for Loudoun County Animal Services and is the immediate past President of the Humane Society of Loudoun County where she served for five years. While in this position, she worked to implement programs built on partnerships to include a pet food pantry with a local food bank and County animal services, as well as business partnerships that led to an increase in adoptions and individual donations through community outreach, marketing and fresh updated branding.

Kim believes in continuing education and attends animal welfare conferences to stay on top of new ideas, lifesaving programs, and to network with others. She is a Loudoun County-based small business owner and resides in Leesburg, Virginia with her two rescue cats, Daisy and Tootsie.
